Something Big is already here: Allbound, social capital, and tribes: welcome to the era of the 'And'

We're a little tired, aren't we?
Tired of reading that the trend is this, that the future is that. That if you're not on such-and-such network, if you don't use such-and-such tool, you're going to fall behind.
And meanwhile, you keep trying to figure out what to do with everything you already are, everything you already know, everything you've already built.
Something big is coming, Matt Shumer's article will remind you about the future that awaits us with AI. And the thing is, in this second quarter, it's not about watching, it's about acting.
Algorithm changes, AI, cultural and social shifts, war… If you also feel that sometimes things move faster than your ability to know what to do with all of this, you are not alone.
Because that gap—between what already exists and what we still don't know how to integrate—is creating a movement of tectonic plates at a societal level. It's not a metaphor. And it has a direct impact on how a coaching, training, or consulting business is built, communicated, sold, and lived today.
But here is what nobody is telling you: the answer is not to choose the right trend. It's to stop choosing.
Because what is emerging is not a new trend. It is a new logic. An era in which you no longer have to choose between one thing and another. In which the combination is the strategy.
And if some facets of the future already seem like Black Mirror, I believe that the change promises us fantastic human connections… if we know how to embrace it, and above all, combine it.
Welcome to the era of AND.
What is the era of AND?
It is the era of the person who thinks AND executes. Of the one who works AND enjoys life. Of the one who is an expert AND keeps learning. Of the one who creates intellectual content AND shows who they are in their daily life.
We no longer live in an either/or world. We live in a world of AND.
And that is not an inconsistency. It is a huge competitive advantage, if you know how to turn it into value.
Because it is precisely there, at the intersection of apparent opposites, where you are building your personal brand.
Here are 10 combinations that are already working.
1. Online AND offline community: community as part of your value proposition
2. Digital personal brand AND human presence: a social capital that works for you
3. Online training AND human support: scale with warmth
4. Inbound AND outbound: allbound
5. Boomer AND Gen Z AND Millennial: adapt your offer to the person in front of you today
6. Freelancer AND business owner: join expertise for real support, from within
7. Visibility AND trust: as a differentiator
8. Small talk AND deep talk: in content as well
9. Human AND your AI products
10. Everything you are AND everything you are building
It is not about doing more, it is about doing things differently.
1. Online AND offline community: community as part of your value proposition
What people are looking for today is not just a platform: they are looking for a sense of belonging, mutual support, and real connection.
And here is the trap we fall into: thinking we have to choose between digital or in-person. Online scales, yes. And offline connects in a way that no screen can replicate.
The businesses that are growing combine both: the private online group that keeps the bond alive, and the in-person event that deepens it. The retreat that creates community, and the newsletter that sustains it week by week.
An example of doing it well: Walead created a product to automate actions on LinkedIn, and they complemented it with Sellin', a sales community where material and methodology are shared. In-person masterclass in Madrid, online workshop.
The product can be replaced tomorrow. The community is part of your value proposition.
2. Digital personal brand AND human presence: a social capital that works for you
Artificial intelligence doesn't just help you create content. It reads you, indexes you, and scores you.
Tools like Gigi quantify your Social Capital Score in real-time: a dynamic index of your digital reputation built from everything about you that exists on the internet. And according to Axios (2026), LinkedIn is currently the number 1 domain cited by ChatGPT in professional searches.

Does it sound like Black Mirror? A little. But the question is no longer "which network should I be on?" but "what story does my digital footprint tell when someone searches for me without me being present?"
And the answer is not simply to have an updated profile. It is combining networking with a renewed mindset and a portfolio of projects: the content you publish AND the real conversations you maintain, the in-person meetings, events, and direct contact.
One without the other is incomplete.
3. Online training AND human support: scale with warmth
100% online training is not going to disappear, but it has shown limits in terms of efficiency. 100% in-person has its own magic. But what generates the most retention today is the combination of both.
"Hybrid" doesn't mean "sometimes online, sometimes in person." It means combining the scale and consistency of digital with the depth of human contact.
Platforms like Live Mentor, where I do mentoring, do exactly that: online content with real monitoring from mentors. The scale of knowledge, the warmth of support.

It is the model that comes closest to what people really need today: someone who is truly present in the process.
4. Inbound AND outbound: allbound
We have already heard too much of "stop posting and send private messages." And also "nobody answers messages anymore." Both are right. And both are wrong if applied alone.
Allbound is the combination: creating content that generates trust AND opening direct conversations to move forward.
It is not about being on every channel. It is about being on the ones that matter, with consistency, with a message that holds up across all of them.
Direct emails, newsletters, posts, events, reels, articles, private messages. Today you have all the tools. The trick is to choose yours AND commit to them.
Less is more: a couple of deep pieces of content and some highly personalized messages are worth more than a lot of scattered noise.
5. Boomer AND Gen Z AND Millennial: adapt your offer to the person in front of you today
Your client is changing. And so is your client's employee, if you work in consulting or training.
Millennials are going through their own crisis of meaning: the forties have arrived and the "work hard and wait" model no longer convinces. Generation Z works from a completely different set of values. And boomers are redefining what the end of a career means.
I hear too many professionals complaining that "that generation doesn't want to work." They want to work. But from a different place.
The winning combination is merging your expertise with the ability to understand who is in front of you today, with their own contradictions.
If you have had the same message for years, the uncomfortable question is this: is your offer still speaking to the person you can transform today?
6. Freelancer AND business owner: join expertise for real support, from within
If 2025 was the year of testing solutions, 2026 is the year of building.
What is coming is structural, conscious, and long-term support. Not selling a methodology: being present while the client lives it.
In a world where anyone can access all knowledge, what the client needs is not more information. It is someone who knows how to navigate uncertainty alongside them. Knowing AND being there.
And you cannot build this alone. A collective of coaches, consultants, and freelancers who complement each other will be your best ally to join forces, cover angles that you cannot cover alone, and offer support that truly transforms from within.
Build your tribe.
7. Visibility AND trust: as a differentiator
A clear positioning, demonstrated experience, transparent offers, and consistent content carry more weight than ever. But there is a trap: confusing visibility with trust.
You can have thousands of followers and have no one buy from you.
Because trust is not declared. It is built by making the invisible visible: real client reviews, testimonials, certifications, comments, content that shows who you are before someone hires you, and deep honesty about what you know how to do and what you are still learning.
The combination is: being visible AND being credible. Both things, at the same time.
8. Small talk AND deep talk: in content as well
Intellectual thinking is gaining ground. We have more information, more access, more awareness. And it seems to me like the logical evolution.
A new profile is emerging: the person who takes the time to reflect on what is happening in their industry, in society, in the world, and who knows how to communicate it in an accessible way.
An opinion that disrupts. An analysis that no one had done that way. That is what AI cannot generate, because it requires real experience, reflection time, and intellectual courage.
The combination is this: long-form content is where the transformation happens, short-form content is what opens the door. A hook that connects AND a development that transforms.
A little less lifestyle, and more of "what is happening to me while I do this."
9. Human AND your AI products
"My biggest competition today is AI," a creative I support told me this week. Words caught in her throat, after a competitor study.
And she is right. If you keep working the same way as before, it will be your competition.
But AI cannot have your history. It cannot have your perspective built over years of real work with real people.
The winning combination is building your own AI operating system AND continuing to be you. Automate what can be automated AND deepen what only you can provide.
AI is just another tool of the AND. Use it. But don't confuse it with the value you already possess.
10. Everything you are AND everything you are building
The trend that runs through all the others is this.
You no longer have to be just one thing. Nor have a single channel, a single format, a single type of client, a single way of supporting.
You are a coach AND a thought leader.
Consultant AND content creator.
Expert AND learner.
In-person AND digital.
Human AND technological.
The magic, as I like to say, happens when everything you are starts working in the same direction: toward the same purpose, the same client, the same problem.
It is not about doing more, it is about doing things differently.
– (Re)define your vision.
– Choose where to be present.
– Recover time thanks to people and technology.
– Sell transformation, not services.
– Reach fewer places, but with more depth.
The answer is not in chasing the next trend or trying to apply everything at the same time.
The answer lies in building a Brand Operating System so aligned with who you are that it doesn't need to follow anyone else.

At LaFacette we help consultants, coaches, and other multipotential professionals build businesses around what they love, navigate each stage of change, and stand out in competitive markets through a deeply personal, authentic, and transformative brand.
Because the future does not belong to those who choose a single thing, it belongs to those who know how to integrate all the pieces in the same direction.
